Very good choice in Moab A review of Aarchway Inn
Above average choice on the north end of Moab. Stayed for three nights in March 2004 with my wife and three teenagers. Excellent large outdoor heated pool (84 degrees), lots of lounge chairs and an inside hot-tub. Included continental breakfast was very good. Currently no restaurant. You have to drive into town to go the restaurants and shops, but nothing is far away. Room (as well as the time of the year) was quiet -- and comfortable. Very large room "meeting room suite" had a king, a queen and a pullout sofabed -- a great choice for families who don't want to rent two rooms or rent a condo in town. Plus there was a microwave and a small fridge. All rooms non-smoking. Only downer: the weightlighting equipment was not in service. Check their website for discounts and other details. When booking a room, mention that you saw the discount on their website -- they won't offer it to you unless you mention it. Their weekday discount was better than a AAA discount. Would definitely stay there again -- especially because of the pool. If they're booked, there's a new Holiday Inn Express very close by.
