Very disappointing A review of Temecula Creek Inn
A disappointing experience. We were expecting a luxury golf resort, as shown on Temecula Creek Inn's website. However, our room was only a notch above a Motel 6. The carpet was very dirty, the TV armoire directly out of the 70s, walls paper thin, bed broken, bathroom badly in need of updating, hot water only after a literal 12.4 minute wait, the A/C unit obnixiously loud and only partially functional. I have a feeling the rooms pictured on the website come from the newly remodeled premium rooms, which are apparently not available when purchasing a "stay & play" package. For $200 a night, plus $6 for parking (!), we expected and should have received much more. The course is beautiful, but stay away from the front 9 and go for the Oaks and Stone House back to back, which are far more beautiful and away from the highway. The setting is beautiful, the restaurant good but overpriced, the pool area lovely but could use a bar or at least improved pool-side menu. This place could be so much more than it is. We had considered Temecula Creek Inn for our wedding location, but it is too run-down. Very disappointing.
