Very disappointed! A review of Hyatt Regency Sacramento
My husband and I wanted to stay at a nice place for our wedding night. We booked a "honeymoon package" a couple of months in advance, which was supposed to include a champagne/snack basket and room service breakfast. When we checked in, the fact that we had just gotten married wasn't even acknowledged. The room we got was very nice, but a friend who worked there had requested a room upgrade for us, which we did not get. The desk clerk actually laughed at my husband when he called down to ask why we were not in the upgraded room. We didn't get any champagne, just a bottle of wine, and no snack foods. Then, in the middle of the night, the fire alarm went off. There were no instructions given as to whether we needed to evacuate, or if it was a false alarm. After waiting quite awhile, we figured everything was ok and went back to sleep. Then, we were awoken, probably at about 6 am, by the sound of a vacuum cleaner going in the next room. There were actually quite a lot of sounds going on all night long, because it was the Christmas season, and they had a lot of parties booked there. So, we were forced to get up much earlier than we had planned because it was too noisy to sleep. We decided to order our breakfast. They told us that they wouldn't serve to us in our room because the restaurant was too busy and we probably wouldn't even be able to get a table there. We were so frustrated by this time that we didn't want to spend any more time there and we left. We didn't have such a great experience here.
