Very Disappointed A review of O'Callaghan Hotel Annapolis
I am orginally from Ireland and my husband and I thought it would be a great start to our Ireland vaction to stay here the night before we flew to Ireland from BWI. We traveled to Annapolis from PA and arrived around 10:30 pm. Our 2 year old daughter was with us and was sleeping on my shoulder. Even though we were the only people in the lobby, it took us 25 minutes to be checked in. Evenatually we were given a keycard and directed to a room. To our horror, we discovered that someone was already in the room they gave us. We were able to open the door with our key and only knew someone was in there when they yelled at us from the bed. We returned to the lobby where we were given another key and directed to another room. Unbelivably, the same thing happened and we distributed *and frightened) an eldery lady. We returned to reception again and were apologized to and told that we were being upgraded to a suite. Gladly we made our way to this room. I called recption to ask them to bring up the pack and play crib that we had reserved to be told that they had none. A few minutes later we were told that they had made a mistake and the room we were in was taken and we had to move. I was furious by this point and our tired 2 year old was screaming. We were given a key to another room and made our way there. When we opened the door, we discovered that the room hadn't been cleaned. Dirty towels were on the bathroom floor, beds not made etc. I went down the reception again and we were told to wait in the lobby while someone cleaned the room!!! Our stay here was disgraceful. It was almost midnight after we were eventually in a room. If my daugher had not been upset and tired we would have looked for another hotel.
We won't be back here!
