Very bad in many ways A review of Ocean Pacific Lodge
The place really has the feeling that it's falling apart and the owners don't care.
We paid $121 for a single night. The toilet didn't work when we got to the room, and the manager said it would be fixed by the time we returned. It wasn't, and we complained again twice, but it was never fixed. No offer to move us, just a cold reply, "Well, I called the plumber!"
The ceiling was stained. The cabinets were missing handles. There's a major construction site across the street, with truck back-up beeps beginning at 7:30 in the morning (expect construction at least through the summer).
The beds were queens, and pleasantly firm, and the location is good. But the room was really dark, with a small window and inadequate lamps.
The free "breakfast" consisted of white bread and cold cerial, with a jug of milk. Later, they brought in some danish, but ran out of milk and bread and didn't have any more.
