Very accomodating A review of Ramada Plaza Minneapolis
My mom and I recently stayed here and we found it to be a very nice place to stay. I would rate it at "excellent" except that - as others have pointed out - it is in an out-of-the-way location. There is a free shuttle within 5 miles though and we were able to make good use of it. We used it to ride to Nicollet Mall to do some shopping one day. A member of the staff took us there and then picked us up when we were done. The rest of the time, we had the shuttle drop us off at a light rail stop downtown and then we hopped the light rail for a relaxing ride to the Mall of America. The shuttle would then pick us up at the light rail stop at night. One day the shuttle broke down, but they arranged for a cab to transport us and paid the fare. They were basically just very accomodating. We especially appreciated the service of Mohammed. As for the rooms, we had no complaints. They were very clean and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this hotel as long as you can get where you are going with the shuttle or at least get to a Metro stop.
