Unwanted visitors A review of Cove of Lake Geneva

Stayed for a weekend at the Cove in mid November. It was a cold and windy weekend so it was nice to be able to go for dinner at Houllihans Restaurant which is inside the hotel complex. We had one of the larger suites, Admiral. However, the second night we were kept awake half the night by the sound that was unmistakenly a mouse or similar critter, scratching in the closet area of our bedroom. It would stop scratching when we made a slight noise. I was afraid to use the bathroom until morning. We were on the second floor which kind of surprised me. Reported to management the next morning when checking out. They didn't act surprised, but just commented that they would report it, which led me believe they heard it before. Also, all the cable channels were only on the bedroom TV, not the living room TV where we all gathered. The indoor pool offered no privacy and was very conspicuously located in full view of people strolling back and forth through the lobbey with most stopping to watch through the huge glass wall. Outdoor pool area is very small. All in all, I would go back, but not for a swim. Cove is in the best location. Walking distance to everything.
