Unexpectedly good! A review of Buffalo Bill's Resort & Casino
Unable to find a room at a reasonable price in Las Vegas, we turned to Primm/Stateline for accommodations. Although a bit unusual - based on reviews here on TripAdvisor, we booked a room. Whoa... $17.43 a night mid-week. We didn't quite know what to expect. Believe it or not, it's a great hotel! It's got about 1200 basic guest rooms (no frills), clean and safe. Four or so restaurants, one is a Tony Romas, a decent buffet ($7.95 for dinner) and a small 24 hour cafe. The casino was nice, had all the games you'd expect and more. Amazing array of slot machines and better payouts than any strip hotel. (If you play slots, look for a game right near the main doors called the STREAKER... staff tell me it pays out frequently and huge jackpots. I won 1200 nickles on it, myself). We drove only about 20 minutes north on I-15 to get to the strip, allow about 40 with traffic. Staff were friendly and attentive and the whole experience was fun. I'd DEFINATELY stay at Buffalo Bill's in the future. Everything you want... in the middle of nowhere.
