Townhouse Suite was great! A review of La Fiesta Ocean Inn & Suites
We spent Easter week 2004 at La Fiesta, in one of the two story, two room Fiesta Suite Townhouses. This was our second trip to this hotel, we love it. It is on the ocean, and has a 60' heated pool. It is not a chain, but a privately owned inn with a family feel. There is a complimentary continental breakfast every morning from 7-11 AM.
Our suite: The living room and one bathroom is on one floor, and there is a staircase inside the suite leading up to the bedroom and a second bathroom. Both levels have 25" TVs with HBO, armoire/dresser and private balconies looking out on the beautiful garden and in the distance, the ocean. Note that the 2-story suite begins on the second floor (there are no elevators) and takes up the second and third floors. If you have trouble with stairs, they have a two room suite on the ground floor with the rooms side by side.
The living room in our suite had a queen size sleeper in the couch, and a single sleeper in the chair, so three people could use this room. It is a small room, but well planned. There is a wall of cabinets with a microwave, decent sized mini-fridge, coffee maker and sink. NOTE: there are no plates, utensils, cookware, etc., so you will need to supply these yourself if you plan on doing any microwave cooking other than popcorn, etc. My children used the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen area to store their clothes and belongings.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king size bed, a gas fireplace, and a second bathroom with a jacuzzi bathtub that can fit two.
We always enjoy our stays at La Fiesta!
