I truly didn't expect much from this hotel because I am not a Holiday Inn person but did think it would be closer to the downtown activites than it actually was. Downtown was many long blocks away, you needed to jump on the "A" trolley or drive and park. Be aware that the front desk will call for a shuttle pickup for you, but the shuttle drops you off at the "Red train" ($15./3 days/pp). The "Green" trolley is across the street ($16./3 days/pp) but has more trolleys that pick up more often.

Plus you paid admission at most stops. The hotel was adequate but not a "suite" as I expected. It was a plain rectangular room with little "walking space". The pool was not heated and the spa was very small, filthy and covered with caution tape (not open) yet advertised as such.

If visiting S.A. again, I would definitely stay in one of the B&Bs downtown or at the Casa Monica.
