This little hotel has everything A review of BEST WESTERN PLUS Ruby's Inn

I once heard a comedian say that Stucky's is a place where you can get a picture of yourself with Santa, get a pap smear, and a pecan log. The same can be said of Ruby's Inn. It is a self-contained vacation package for the low budget traveler. There are few hotels near Bryce which makes it even better. Inside the hotel are: a restaurant with an excellent buffet of western comfort foods, a hot tub and pool, a grocery store, native american art, outdoor outfitter supplies, a post office, a liquor store, photo developing, and a hair stylist. All this for $40/night off season. The staff are really friendly. Several of the older folks working in the restaurant like to practice their foreign language. On the off season everything in the hotel closes at 8:30 so keep that in mind. I might add that the first week of April is a great time to visit the park. The daytime temperatures are good for hiking with light jackets and you can have solitude in the park relatively easily since it is less crowded than the other parks on the grand loop, Grand Canyon and Zion National Park, and Bryce is a lot more interesting things to see since there is more diversity of conifers there than at either of the other two.
