The true miracle is the midweek pricing A review of Miracle Springs Hotel and Spa
This was my second visit to Miracle Springs. I thought perhaps my first visit, also midweek in September after Labor Day, was a fluke, based on the long list of bad reviews, but no.... this visit was EVEN BETTER. This is not a luxury hotel, by any means, but it is very clean, and the service was excellent. Every staff person I talked to was courteous and went out of their way to keep me happy. The grounds are flat-out wonderful. And mid-week, in September, we had the place to ourselves-- again! Maybe people stay away because of the heat, but while it WAS hot, it was also very very relaxing to lounge about in the shade of the lush desert landscaping, and try to select which of the numerous pools to try out this time. The pools are super clean, the staff very helpful, and the SPA was over-the-top wonderful. We each (my sister and I) had a 2 hour treatment, also at special mid-week bargain prices, and were very happy. The number of limos seen bringing day-trippers up to the spa from Palm Springs tells its own story. This place is a bargain, and a true find! The rooms are adequate but comfortable(bring your own pillow if you are super picky...). The air conditioner works great (we have had rooms 221 and 224), and the in-room large fridge is a great idea-- bring your own liquid refreshments for poolside to save money. The over-all experience will leave you renewed and refreshed. I can't wait to go back. Would you believe---$69.00 a night (booked over the internet, midweek, low season). GO!!
