The Inn Place To Stay A review of Avenue Inn Bed And Breakfast
My husband and I were offered tickets to go the the Sugar Bowl game last week in New Orleans. We had never been there before and figured "why not?" Some friends of ours love New Orleans and visit frequently. We asked where to stay and they said of all the places they have stayed the place they enjoyed most was a Bed and Breakfast called The Avenue Inn. We were a bit reluctant as we knew we'd have a lot of questions about the area/how to/etc. Whoa! Were our concerns ever unnecessary. The propiertors Joe and Bebe couldn't have been more knowledgeable and the accommodations were divine. It was like spending a few days with a private concierge at your disposal...even though they seem to treat everyone that way. No request to big, no question too silly, it was clear that they were there to make sure everyone had the best time possible. The Inn was immaculate and the furnishings were great. We can't imagine going back to New Orleans and staying anywhere else. If you've never been to The Big Easy and want a great place to stay with super friendly and knowledgeable people, make sure you stay at The Inn on The Avenue!
