The Greatest Hotel To Stay At! A review of The Westin Waltham-Boston
I have been to Massachusetts before, but this is one of the most comfortable and relaxing hotels I've ever been to.
We pulled into the hotel on a Friday night in March, and my initial reaction was "wow". Check in was easy and fast, and we were up in our room within five minutes from check in.
We had requested an ajoining room to a friend of ours, and we were pleased to find that we had indead received the ajoining room.
Back tracking a little, the room was spacious and comfortable-especially the beds. The only problem I had was that you almost needed to swim to the other side of the bed because there were so many blankets and comforters on the bed.
The next morning we went for breakfast. The buffet had a lot of good food, however ordering off the menu took almost ten minutes-for an english muffin. The english muffin was good, however it shouldn't take ten minutes-maybe we were just on a slow day.
However, the view from the restaraunt was beautiful, and I felt as if I could sit and watch the view forever.
That same day I was waiting for a family friend to pick me up from the hotel, so I was waiting in the lobby. The lobby was very comfortable, and I almost didn't want to leave.
That night I came back for a party and the catering facilities were beautiful and the food was surprisingly delicious. I found that to be the same when I arrived for a brunch affair that was being held.
The only problem with the location is getting back on the highway. You need to go in a large circle that takes about three minutes just to get on the highway where you can see the hotel-I wanted to just cut across the grass!
All in all, the hotel was wonderful, I would definitly stay there again, and if I ever move to Massachusetts, I would hold an event there.
