The Garden Room A review of Old Thyme Inn Bed and Breakfast

Imagine traffic at a stand still at 7:00 on a Sunday night. You're exausted and frustrated along with everyone else standing outside their car. Who knows how many hours it will be before you get home! Everyone is upset. But suddenly out of the corner of your eye you notice some happy go lucky fellow strolling across the road. He then disappears into a beautiful old victorian home. You look at the sign above and it reads "Old Thyme Inn Bed and Breakfast". And you think to yourself "would'nt that be nice!". Yes it was because I was the fellow crossing the road! Traffic like that is unusual in the small town of Half Moon Bay but, with the current heat wave hitting California, everyone had the same idea of going to the coast for the weekend. My wife and I were in that traffic but decided to make lemonade out of lemons. So while everyone else was waiting in traffic, my wife and I were in "The Garden Room" sitting in a hot tub with a glass of Champagne while our new born son slept in his cradle. The air was filled with romantic music and the scent of bath salts. As our eyes grew heavy we seemed to float over to the bed which felt like a cloud of feathers. On this day it was as if we found a little bit of heaven in the calm and tranquil eye of the storm. Oh...I imagine we were being served breakfast around the same time those poor folks were getting home... Thanks Old Thyme Inn
