The Beautiful New Letson Hotel A review of Letson Loft Hotel
We arrived in Bisbee from Tombstone at dusk after a long day of sightseeing. When we saw the sign Letson Hotel on the building, we were quite happy to have found our accommodations for the evening. When we rang the bell and Pat answered the door, we were not prepared for what we saw. There in the middle of this old western town was a new, beautifully appointed hotel. The hotel is in a renovated mill building and has all the charm of an older building, yet it has every updated convenience travelers could possibly want.
We were able to park in the back of the building and brought our luggage up the stairs. (There is no elevator in this building, but there are only two floors to this hotel, so it is not inconvenient) The room we had for the evening was absolutely elegant. The furnishings were tastefully appointed, the linens were some of the best I have every used. The robes that were provided were soft and warm. The basket of toiletries were an extra pleasant touch. The shower was outstanding. The linens on the bed were superb. Not only were the very attractive the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything about this room was perfect.
As I always do when I see an open door at a hotel, I peek in to check to see what the other rooms look like. The door across the hall from my room was open and there stood another room just as elegant as the one I was staying in.
When I made the reservation at the hotel, I was asked if I wanted them to make a dinner reservation for me. I thought it would be a good idea since I didn't know the area. The restaurant they recommended was excellent. The food was spectacular and the service could not have been any better.
If you are looking for a reasonably priced elegant hotel in southern Arizona, call the Letson Hotel. You will be pleasantly surprised.
