Terrible without question A review of Hilton Garden Inn Queens/JFK Airport
I and my my wife stayed here on July 5; the hotel was so terrible, that we checked out after 3 hrs. The room had free high speed internet which did not work even after their technical staff spent 30 minutes fixing the problem. They blamed it on my computer which worked fine the days before at the Muse Hotel and Kimberly Hotel in Manhatten. We went to the restaurent to get something to eat. very little on the menu was available; a very unfriendly waitress told us that there was no soup; when I ordered a hamburger which comes with french fries, the waitress told that there are no french fries available because the cooker died. I and my wife tried to get a gin and tonic, and we were told that no alcoholic drinks are available. My wife ordered breakfast tea, and the waitress told that they have no breakfast tee but only spiced tea available after 10 minutes. The waitress told us to go to the close by Ramda Inn to get good food and drinks. I waited for 20 minutes for my hamburger without fries. The waitress disappeared. So I went near the Kitchen, and the hamburger was sitting on a plate (the cook has left it there, getting cold) which should have been brought to me by the waitress. It is incredible that a hotel could use the isignia of Hilton, and offer absolutely thrid class services. At least they should not engage in false advertisements. Hilton should remove them from their license.
