Terrible Stay A review of Glacier Park Lodge
My wife and I stayed at the Glacier Park Lodge August 10th, 2004. Stayed one night and that was one night too long. I would say that this is a great place to stop and look around and then move on......fast. I had booked a room with a king bed at a rate of $199 per night but after added taxes it came to almost $240. The room was in the south annex and was a very basic room. The bed was indeed a king bed but old. The bathroom was small and if you're claustrophobic you may not do well in the space. The room was noisy as the floors are wooden as one might expect from a lodge built in the early 1900's. There are no TV's in the rooms but there is one in the lounge. The lounge is adequate and dinner was suitable with a very friendly waitress. If you are after a rustic experience then this is the place for you it just wasn't what we expected and we didn't expect much.
