Terrible...4 problems in one night A review of Radisson Hotel Reagan National Airport
I stayed at the Radisson near the Reagan National Airport for one night. I booked a room online & was assured that a crib would be available. I had multiple problems:
1. The crib took about an hour to arrive. When I called to inquire about it, the front desk staff was apologetic, which helped.
2. I ordered room service. I was overcharged (I later discovered it was because they delivered the wrong things) and the soup was cold. When I asked about the overcharge, I was told I would have to address it the next day as the person on duty for room service was not a manager. When I called to report the wrong sandwich, the wrong size soup and the soup being cold, the person suggested I heat up the soup in a microwave, if one was in my room (it was). He did offer to send up another sandwich, but I said "never mind" as it was too late already and I had to get my child to bed in the crib I was still waiting for.
3. The half-filled tub took about 20 minutes to drain...pretty gross.
4. When I tried to make a 1-800 call, I found that the instructions on the phone & the Radisson book were both wrong and differed from one another. I called the front desk to ask how to dial the number & they said "press 9." I let them know that the info in the room was incorrect & she said "just dial 9."
I complained the next morning and the person at the front desk said "what do you want?" I said I wanted the room at no charge and she said she couldn't address the room fee as it was prepaid online. She directed me to the customer service #, then took the room service charge off my bill.
