Super Holiday A review of HotelO Antwerpen Kathedral
My sister, father and I visited Antwerp, staying at the Hotel Villa Mozart, for the first time in late April this year (2003). It was a sentimental return to Antwerp for my Dad to meet someone from his time there during the War.
The Hotel was brilliant. Staff could not do enough for us; the rooms were clean, comfortable and warm. Tea & Coffee facilities were available in the room, together with a fridge. Also, tea & coffee could be ordered as 'room service' and were FREE. Breakfast was superb - plentiful and a really good choice of hot and cold.
The location is absolutely perfect - we loved our rooms which faced the Cathedral and felt steeped in the bustling atmosphere. Lovely to sit in the rooms and watch life going on - and if you don't like Church bells, then you shouldn't stay opposite a Church !
We arranged to borrow a wheelchair for Dad from the Red Cross, and hotel staff made 'phone calls for taxis etc., They were all cheerful all the time !
If we go back to Antwerp (and we hope to) it will definitely be to this hotel.
