Stone Canyon and Bryce Canyon, both incredible A review of Stone Canyon Inn
What a beautiful place... 10 miles from Bryce Canyon National Park, near Dixie National Forest, Escalante State Park, and Cedar Breaks, it was just lovely. The Inn has 6 rooms and my husband and I opted for the Cedar Room with huge double doors, a king size bed, a fouton for just sitting and relaxing and it's very own deck overlooking some of the most beautiful country I've ever seen in my life. The bathroom suite was huge with a small room with the toilet, a walk in closet, a huge 2 person jacuzzi and shower with windows looking out at the countryside so you can shower and see the sunrise or set while you shower. It was really lovely. A homemade breakfast was also included in the price. We stayed 2 nights in October and loved it. Since most places in Tropic closed early it was great to come back and sit on the deck a while or watch one of the many satellite TV channels available (yes there's something for everyone). The only reason not five is the matress felt a bit saggy and the shower, without an individual curtain, though refreshing was a little cold in October. Wish we had stayed longer. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks to the owner Dixie and her staff for a truly magnificent experience.
