Stay...AWAY! A review of Dallas Marriott City Center
Spend your time and money elsewhere! No twice a day maid as advertised - in fact - no maid at all. Someone's room service garbage still in the hall at 10:30 AM after being there all night. Bathtub rusted on bottom and rust poorly plugged with caulk. An insulting note card about how the hotel believes in "conservation" and so encourages you to re-use your towels, etc. Bathroom door peeling on bottom inside. Room dimly lit, chairs with sagging, half filled cushions. Outrageous prices in resturant - how about $16.00 per person for a lousy continental breakfast? The silent icy stare treatment from the night concierge.
Must have looked a little too trashy for him after 4 hours in the heat at Trinity Fest. Oh, the "Atrium" shopping was completely shut down on July 4th, and only a couple of shops were open the next day when we left at 11:00. All in all, an overly pretentious hotel in sore need of a complete renovation. We stayed at the Bradford Homesuites the night before for half the price and more than double the value.
