Staff plentiful and pleasant A review of Marriott Indianapolis Downtown
We stayed on a night before a Colt's game. They had lots of staff at the front and everyone was very helpful, very service-oriented. Valet parking cost was very typical for a city ($21). We asked for our bags to be held after check-out, before we claimed our car. The bell staff was accomodating, even thought they were swamped with requests. We had a very nice brunch at a reasonable cost ($13). The lobby was crowded with fans and people checking out, but the staff worked quickly to meet everyone's needs. Be warned: we were disappointed at the level of sound insulation. Our room on the third floor had a connecting door. I don't know if that was the problem, but we could hear our neighbor's conversation and TV (they were not being especially loud). The decor was nice, good water pressure in the shower, and the tall ceilings made the room feel larger.
