Just returned from a four night stay at The King Charles Boutique Hotel in Prague and would highly recommend it as a base. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds comfortable. The staff were all helpful and offerred advice on places of interest. All the hotel lacks is a bar. However theres a fantastic bar/restaurant next door. Don't let the outside put you off.

The hotel is a bit out of the way for the main attractions in Prague but fantastically handy for Vyserhad which is more than worth a visit. There are regular trams to take you into the city but we preferred to walk along the riverside. It's a gentle 20 minute or so stroll which is great on a nice day. The walk back could be broken by visiting one of the numerous bars that are between Charles Bridge and the hotel.
