Something Ain't Right A review of Hotel Biba
The hotel is not as it appears in the pictures. It is a little rundown and almost weirdly quiet. The rooms have no carpet, only lenolium. They are scented with some strange air freshener device that we turned off the second we entered and still had to wash everything we brought when we got home. Parking is a disaster. Bathrooms were gross, they had painted the shower tiles and it would peel off on us. The cable was out and the TV was making noises like it was going to fall down. The pool was ok, but again not as it was made out to be. And the staff was not all that friendly. I wouldn't recommend this MOTEL (its not a hotel) to anyone especially at a hundred bucks a night. I was looking to take my boyfriend away for a nice romantic weekend and would rather have stayed at the holiday inn.
PS. Our room was right along the road (seperated by a fence) and all you heard all night was people at the bar and trucks passing by).
