Some good points, some bad points.... A review of Quality Inn & Suites
First of all I must say that the Country Inn and Suites are the lowest priced property in this area, if you book online and pay in advance the price is $66 a night. Indeed the rooms are small, the walls thin, and the property difficult to negociate, as one reviewer put it, as if it were designed by MC Ecsher, but it is overall a very nice place to stay!
The rooms come with microwaves and mini fridges. The property is very well maintained and clean, with cheerful furnishings not as frilly and granny-like as I've encountered at other Country Inns. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi are quite inviting, with plenty of comfy reclining lawn furniture to catch some rays on. All the front desk people I've encountered have been helpful and professional. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the hotel has a free workout deal with the Gold's Gym next door. Plus, there are excellent views of the lovely desert mountains to be had from several directions.
For the most bang for the buck, the Country Inn and Suites is the best choice for the Oro Valley area!
