So So hotel A review of Chamberlain West Hollywood
A little tricky to find but is in a quaint quiet neighborhood right off the busy Santa Monica Blvd.It is about a 1970's/early 80's vintage hotel about 4 stories plus roof pool deck hotel. Elevators were squeeky. My room had several problems including dirty, worn carpets, a burn mark from the fireplace and the wrong welcome package. The hotel first offerred to switch me to another room but I discovered it had been smoked in so I opted to keep the first room. The furniture was quite old and not of high quality compared to regular Wyndham hotels. On the plus side, they offer a generous breakfast buffet including hot items.I guess considering what a quality hotel generally rents for ($200+/night) getting a place for $89 a night, I about got what I paid for.I would be ambivilent to staying here again. I'd probably try the Wyndham Bel Age up the street.
