Smallest Hotel Room I've Ever Stayed In A review of Sheraton Clayton Plaza Hotel St. Louis

Booked through Priceline at $69 for 3 star. Lowest internet price I could find afterward was $119 at this hotel. Thought I was getting a great deal. Found out later that you'll have to add $8 per day to park.

Upon entering you get the feeling that you are really stepping into an elegant luxury hotel. Lobby is spacious and beautiful. Apparently this hotel was remodeled in 1999 but they partially neglected the rooms themselves as they have crammed as many rooms as possible on to each floor. We had 1 queen bed, 2 night stands, desk and chair, another chair, and an armoire that held the TV. The lighting was terrible and one lamp was burned out. The hairdryer in the bathroom kept blowing the circuit breaker on the socket. There is no vanity, just one little glass shelf above the toilet to place your tolietries. The TV had minimal channels although ON-Demand movies were available for $12 and $14 each. No continental breakfast offered and room service was very expensive. I'm a bargain shopper and I think I'll go back to staying at the Drury Inns or the Marriotts family of hotels where I can get everything I got here plus a vanity, table and chairs, refridgerator, and free hot breakfast.
