Small, Unique, Hotel A review of Oceanfront Resort
I stayed at the Best Western Oceanfront Resort for a few days during the later part of march. The hotel is easy to find, and has a lot of free parking spaces for guest...the hotel is in good conditon, although, a new paint job would not hurt it, but its not terrible...the rooms are easy to find, and the staff is very helpful. I stayed in room 212, an oceanfront balcony suite...it was very nice. The kitchen provides alot of room to cook, there is a publix supermarket about 1-2 blocks away with very decent prices...the bathroom and sink area was kept clean. The t.v. offers limited channels, but who's there to watch t.v. anyways? the balcony is really nice, although a sliding glass door is available in some rooms, the room I stayed in didn't offer this feature. The balcony had ample space to move around, and offered lawn patio furniture. One concern with the balconys the divisons between rooms are only like 1/2 private, so they can see you and you can see them, but everyone is pretty friendly. The free contintenal breakfast is very limited, but heck you got a full kitchen so use it. One concern though, it was very windy when I was there and the open hall-walk ways was a breeding ground for noise, the wind was loud whipping through there, at times it wasn't that bad...but if your a complete sound freak, and can only sleep in complete and total silence, stay somewhere else, or if its not windy it will be fine. The beach area was very clean, daily crews came out and clean the beach area. It was a throughly enjoyable experience, and I will look forward to staying there again.
