Small, noisy, not recommended.... A review of Hotel Aida
We stayed in this hotel in early April this year. It was booked for us through an agent. The website boasts restaurant and bar. There is no restaurant, and the bar is a fridge behind the small reception desk, which had run out of beer. The rooms were the smallest rooms I have ever stayed in. It was not possible to open our suitcases on the floor, only on the bed as this was the only area big enough to do so - (they were two single beds pushed together). The beds were sort of in wooden box like structures and on the way from the bathroom to his side of the bed, my boyfriend whacked his knee off this box , due to the lack of space, and it is quite bruised now. The walls were paper thin. The two guys who were staying in the room next to us made alot of noise especially when they were coming in at 4 am, as did the british stag party who were running up and down the corridor between each others rooms through the night. The night porter did nothing to try and quieten them down, just jokingly said to them the next night that he hoped they would be quieter that night. I will say that the rooms were clean, but that is the only good thing I have to say obout the place.
The one advantage of being in a horrible hotel is that you don't want to spend any time in it. This gave us all the more time to enjoy beautiful prague. Avoid this hotel.
