Sleepless Nights A review of Holiday Inn San Jose-Airport
If you need a good nights rest while in San Jose, don't stay at the Wyndham.
I have stayed at the Wyndham San Jose on 4 trips. 2 out of the 4 nights I didn't get a wink of sleep. The hotel is VERY noisy. The first sleepless night was due to the Michigan Baskeball Team, who was staying here for the final 4 playoffs. They didn't arrive until 11:00 p.m. Why were they put on my floor? They weren't being extremely loud, but with the construction of the hotel you could hear every step and voice of the 6'9"+ players. Isn't it common sense that a group of 30 college basketball players might be a little noisy, so putting them on their own floor or something might make sense?
The second sleepless night a similar situation. 6 young men checked into the rooms adjancent to mine. For some reason I was in a room with 2 adjoining doors. Through these doors you can hear everything going on next door. The new arrivals weren't being loud, but due to the poor construction I could hear everything going on. They arrived at 10:00 and checked out at 4:00 a.m. Needless to say - no sleep for me.
Why can't the Wyndham distinguish between a business traveler and a non-business traveler?
