Seemed like a somewhat made over Holiday Inn A review of Hyatt Morristown

This hotel had to be an old Holiday Inn "type" of hotel. There was still a chain on the back of the door plus one of those tacky "gold" framed long mirrors on the wall. Even the tv sat on top of the dresser (can you really call it a dresser when it only has two drawers?). The walls were paper thin. The carpet appeared old and the elevators seemed a little shaky. $2 for a canned soda from the vending machine seemed like a rip off. $19 for parking. There was no bottled water in the room. I even brought a fan with me to drown out noise from other rooms and I could still hear others talking and doors slamming all night. I had to ask twice that they credit my Hyatt Goldpassport account. The lobby seemed nice, but was lacking furniture. I was attending a conference at this hotel and the training rooms seemed nice. The food from the catering department was exceptional. The bed was comfortable. So, there were a few pluses, but this hotel is definitly not up to Hyatt standards. I wouldn't stay here again unless I had to.
