Room on fire! Arrogant and poor service. A review of Hilton Burlington

This hotel is no longer a Radisson, but a Wyndham hotel. We are Wyndham by Request members and asked for the upgrades that members are entitled to when we checked in. They said since we didn't book it at the Wyndham website(couldn't have since it was under different management at the time), they would not honor our request for a room upgrade or free phone calls. On our 3rd day, our heating/air unit erupted in flames while we were sleeping. Thank God my husband woke up from the smell of burning plastic and was able to put the fire out even though it reignited twice. For saving their hotel and lives of the guests, they have offered taking off our phone charges and MAYBE a couple of days free at another Wyndham. My husband and I are still in shock at the arrogance with which we have been treated before, during, and after this ordeal. If you stay there, be careful and don't be surprised if the front desk and management staff treats you as if you don't exist.
