Romantic and Close to the Park! A review of Red Rock Inn Bed and Breakfast Cottages
My husband and I stayed for two days in April at the Red Rock Inn. We booked a B&B with a private hot tub (room 5) on purpose, having hiked national parks before. We like to soak our muscles after long hikes!
The Red Rock Inn is in the town of Springdale, a charming town at the gateway to Zion. This means that you can be to Zion in less than ten minutes. In April, private cars are not allowed to enter the park, so folks can leave the car at the Inn and take the Springdale park bus into the park. Once in the park, there is a bus that will take you to the great hiking spots. There is a Springdale park bus pick up right across the street from the Red Rock Inn. There are also mini-marts and restaurants around the Inn, so you won't have to worry about finding a place to eat.
The Red Rock Inn itself is a tucked away place, with several cottages in which to stay. We choose #5 for the hot tub reason and we were glad we did! The room was charming, decorated with dark woods and rose and tan colors that were relaxing as well as romantic. In the living room was a t.v. and vcr/dvd combo (the main office has movies you can borrow to watch or bring your own). There are two bathrooms, one right off the bedroom (with a very comfortable bed by the way). The master bathroom had a wonderful soaking tub, complete with bath salts and other nice amenities. I really enjoyed the tub! The other bathroom (off the living room area) had a large shower. Both bathrooms were a great size. Right off of the living area, there was also a mini-fridge, which was helpful for storing cold water.
The Inn was quiet, and at night, we really enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. The stars are amazing! There is also a private patio with a table and chairs right off of the bedroom. This made a great place to read!
In the mornings, Alex prepared our breakfasts and they were excellent. You can choose the time for breakfasts to be delivered, and they were delievered on time with a knock on the door. Our basket had fresh fruit, an egg dish, yogurt and fresh muffins both mornings. We also chose to have apple juice and tea with our meals. The food was excellent and it was so nice to have it at the door in the morning.
If we ever make it back to Utah, we will be sure to stay here again. We enjoyed the service, quiet, romance and hot tub of the Red Rock Inn. Having stayed in national parks before, we also enjoyed the close proximity of the Inn to the park.
