Rocky start but awesome A review of Sheraton Arlington Hotel
When I booked the hotel I asked for a room with 2 beds for my husband, myself and our 3 girls. When we arrived at the hotel at 11 pm, check in was nice and smooth but when we got to our room it had 1 queen bed. I called down to the front desk and they informed that 2 beds was just the room "I requested" not the room I would necessarily get.....WHAT!!!! They had no rooms with 2 queen beds, so they offered me a room with 1 king bed and 1 rollaway. I said that won't work and I would like a refund and they put me on hold and then moved us to a suite at no extra charge. Saturday we rode the trolley to Hurricane Harbor and after 3 hours there a storm rolled in and they closed the slides. We decided to go catch the trolley before the crowds and we got on the trolley and it went right past our hotel and to Six Flags. After dropping off a family at Six Flags the supervisor came over and told us to get off the trolley and told the driver to take a break. After we got off the trolley I asked when another one would pick us up and the supervisor said 1 hour and I asked how he could possibly make us wait another hour and he said your problem not mine. I called the hotel and explained and the bellman was there in 5 minutes to get us right as the rain started. Wyndham did not have to do that they went above and beyond the call of duty. After our rocky start, the staff came through in the end. We will definitely stay here again!!
