Relaxing experience! A review of Lime Tree Bay Resort Motel
Stayed the first weekend in May 2003 for one night. I booked two standard rooms and upon check in found out that we had been upgraded to two king mini-suites with kitchens! The property is older, but appears to have been recently updated. The rooms were kind of dark, but were freshly painted and opened onto a wooden deck that faces the parking lot and across from the lot, the bay. You won't want to spend too much time in the room as the waterfront is so beautiful! They had plenty of lounge chairs and hammocks (all appeared new) set up on the bay front. There is an elevated bay front pool and spa that are also older, but very clean and comfortable. There is a boat/ wave runner rental facility next door, a tasty restaurant out front (breakfast was wonderful!), and a well-stocked convenience store across the street. Although the property entrance is right on the main road, most of the accommodations and bay fron area were away from the road and so quiet that I easily fell asleep in a hammock! I highly recommend Lime Tree and look forward to returning for a laid back, relaxing stay.
