Recommendation...... Don't Waste Your Money.... A review of Best Western Ocean View Resort
We stayed in this hotel in May, 2003. Apparently it has new owners from the several times, we have stayed there before, and the last time - 1993. At that time we swore we would never stay there again. Unfortunately, not a lot has changed. We felt sucked in, great customer service when we checked in, after that, we were treated terribly. They need to send all of their staff to customer service classes, they are so rude, and get rid of the "car salesman" mentality of gotcha sucker, now deal with it and don't bother us. The rooms need to be completely gutted and remodeled. The drains for the tub and all sinks are slow to drain, which is very disgusting. Showering in a tub full of standing water, because the drain is full of hair and debris from a million other people is like standing in a sewer plant. The beds and the sofa sleeper are so worn out and over used. And on top of all of that, they are so over priced for what they have to offer. And the restaurant..... forget it, very slow service, food is so so and over priced. Better restaurants in town. Just a warning to all who are considering staying at this "Best Western". BEWARE!!! WE WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN!!! They need to all go to some sort of hotel customer service training... and gut and remodel!!!
Our oceanfront rooms have been fully renovated, including replacement of the sofa beds with state-of-the-art wall beds. The staff has recieved continual training in guest service. Our property has been consistently awarded the Bestwestern Director's Award for quality assurance.
