Ramada --- very poor A review of Econo Lodge

Recently , my girlfriend and I were attending a Concert in BuffaloMy girlffriend booked the Ramada Limited - Williamsville for one night July 15 th 2003We arrived on July 15 th , in the aftertoon and promptly checked into our roomThe room itself was spacious , but lacked recent paint and updating , in my opinionWe had reservered the room online , so we had recieved a good price .We attended our concert that night ,and returned late to our roomThe next morning , prior to 1000 am , I heard loud banging and furniture moving in the room above usOur room was on the main floor , with a big pane of glass .I thought perhaps customers were moving out and were noisyWhen the noise persisted , and shook our glass window , I looked out in disbelief ,The Ramada staff were throwing furniture out the window from the room above and it was landing on the grass, beside our room window on the main levelI quiclkly got my digital camera and took several pictures .It was 1130pm by this time , just then the Hotel Clerk ,called to remind us of our checkout time , which was 12 noonI said we have furniture being thrown out above us Almost hitting our window ! This also woke us up !She said , "We know , its a renovation "I asked myself why @1000 am on a WednesdayShe responded with " Why didnt you call the Front Desk to ask us to stop it !I was flabbergasted , I mentioned to her that I had pictures of this event and that I would persue thisShe didnt seem to care !Very poor attitude for a manager .Might I add , very unsafe for the ramada workers , who had no safety helmets on or safety equipment , and were kicking boards with nails , with no safety shoes on eitherIm just glad that any of this "reno" never went through our hotel window !Very Poor , Dont Stay there !John PiercyPSwe emailed the customer service from Ramada and received a form letter in reply asking us to take it up with the Williamsville Manager !Not a chance !More POOR Customer relations !
