Pretty much perfect! A review of San Mateo Marriott San Francisco Airport

The hotel is located a few miles south of the SF Airport. My girlfriend and I drove up from Los Angeles to attend a wedding in Half Moon bay (about twenty miles West and North of San Mateo), but we also used the hotel to head North to check out a giants game and eat in the city.

We pricelined the hotel and I was expecting a standard four star room, but we got a great room on the ground floor. There's nothing with a great view around the hotel, but the fitness center was large enough with some fresh fruit in it, a regular pool area and nice grounds. We received excellent check in and check out service and our toilet also clogged and they responded quickly enough.

Some items to note about the hotel:

It is about three blocks away from the Caltrain and seems to have regular service to SFO.

It is two blocks away from Trader Joes (a great grocery store) and a drugstore should you need anything.

It's right near where the 101 and 93 intersect so if you need to go to the city or to the coast, it's in a good location.

There is some street parking so you might not have to pay for parking when you go to the hotel (the cost is bit too expensive at something like 14 buck a night!).

Don't eat the hotel's food - we had really bad pizza that was overpriced. There isn't much local cuisine either so you'll have to drive to get some good grub.
