Pretty good-Not great A review of Meadowbrook Inn & Suites

For my 40th wedding anniversary, we stayed here for 3 nights. We had a VIP suite for 2 nights, and a pool suite for the last night. The rooms were large, well furnished, and comfortable. However, the VIP suite had a door to an ajacent room(locked) which could expand your suite to multiple bedrooms. The door had no soundproofing , and a family next door with several small children were both clearly heard and very annoying. The pool suite is not as nice a room as the VIP room, but you do have a private, shallow pool of your own-worth it for one night. The morning breakfast was sub-par, especially the Monday morning, when 1/2 of the items were not available. My son & his wife had a standard room on the first floor which seemed pretty nice, although at $170/night not a great deal. When i checked out they charged me for his room twice, and I had to call back after I returned home to get a credit for $345. It is close to downtown and the grounds are nice. Overall, I would not return for the prices I paid--too expensive for thepackage.service by the staff while friendly was just average.
