Poor service/Dirty Rooms/Mold/Showing it's age A review of BEST WESTERN Bay Harbor Hotel
Mold on the ceilings. Huge water stains all over the ceiling (wonder how much leaked out on the beds??). Carpet in the room had multiple blood-like stains. Management said it was orange gatorade (stains were red). Poor air condition system. Dirty bathroom. Poor maid service. Multiple burnt out lightbulbs. Room switch refused.
Guess they save their 'bad' rooms for Priceline customers.
To top off our lackluster stay, the fire alarm sounded at 5:30am. How neat it was to gather in the lobby with 100+ guests with curlers in their hair and dressed in pj's. No fire, just some steam from someone's shower set off the alarm. Did management bother to notify all of the panicked people that it was 'ok' and to go back to their rooms???? NO!!! We lined up like cattle for 45 minutes until a desk clerk appeared and said that the 'coffee was free' this morning. No apology of anything. Also, upon evacuation, the concrete stairwell leading out of the second floor had no ligthing. This was a huge safety violation.
