Poor hotel, possibly OK if you need cheap A review of Hotel Chambord
Dirty carpets, mouldy bathroom with peeling laminated fitted furniture, greasy bed cover, stained corridors, hot rooms. Cheapest possible ingredients for breakfast (tinned fruit salad, industrial croissants, prepackaged cheese spreads, fatty sausage, cold scrambled egg and fat-soaked streaky bacon...but it is included in the room rate, so what can you expect?). Common areas are quite acceptable but limited in what they do - the breakfast room is nicest, open and light and on the first floor with picture windows - but only pictures of roads. On the positive side, the hotel is cheap and it's very near the metro. There is a good bar/restaurant round the corner (the Copenhagen Tavern). I found the hotel staff friendly and cooperative but I made few demands. I booked the hotel through Eurostar because it was an easy walk to my conference and the package was cheap as a whole . But I won't stay there again.
