Poor Customer Service A review of Holiday Inn Sarasota - Lido Beach
What is offered and what you get is two different things. They offer transportation within a 15 mile radius of the hotel but once you get there and want to go somewhere within that 15 miles they tell you that they do not go there. They have rude front desk & bar personel. If you have a maintenance problem they will send someone. That is not to say that they fix it (we had an area of carpet that stayed wet for 3 days).
They offer complete satisfaction and if you are not satisfied they will deduct from your bill (we had to ask, they deducted a movie that we overcharged for). Even when you bring your complaints to the management they are not very willing to apologize. If you do not nag, nag, nag nothing would be done. They do offer you a free drink coupon for all your troubles but forget to tell you that you can not order the drink of you choice. Therefore if you order without reading the fine print you have to pay the difference (not quite a free drink in my book). The location was good and it was clean but it lacks in everything else. I would not go back.
