Poor Conditions, Overcharged, Rude Management A review of Quality Inn & Conference Center
We reserved two rooms for a family wedding. The rooms were marginal, cleaning and maintenance appear to be low priorities.
A month after our stay we were charged for an extra night. After four calls to the hotel we were told that we had reserved an extra room and that we had not cancelled it. We actually reserved two rooms and used two, yet they insist we reserved three rooms.
We checked in and got the keys for two rooms, yet no one informed us that their records were showing a third room reserved for us.
This morning I spoke with Richard Barton who is the General Manager. I explaind the situation and asked him to reverse the charge. He was quite rude and told me that it was my fault for not cancelling the room. I explained again that I had not reserved a third room and asked why when checking in the error was not caught. He refused to reverse the charge.
I informed him that I would take the necessary steps to have his decision changed, incliuding small claims court.
We will NEVER stay at this property again and will tell as many people as possible about our experience. If you must use this hotel - Watch your Charges!!!!
