Pleasurable Prague! A review of Dorint Hotel Don Giovanni Praha
My husband and I were in Prague in Aug., 2003 - the very hot summer! We stayed as part of a tour at the modern, air conditioned Don Giovanni in a residential neighborhood. The facilities were wonderful, though it is a very "convention-style", big hotel. Good food, nice bar area and everyone we talked to in the hotel spoke English. We were directed up the street to the Flora subway/trolley stop, which is very safe and clean and easy to ride into the main square and shopping area, plus a very modern mall with 12 screen movies! We were there for 3 days and it was fun, totally different from other European cities we've visited, with a very "young", feel. Streets were safe, though it is a city, so watch your bags and pockets, but no one on our tour encountered any problems and we loved it. And the food!! Eat everything! It's all wonderful, different and delightful. We'd love to return anytime.
