Pleased we chose the Corinthia Towers A review of Corinthia Hotel Prague
We booked two rooms at the Corinthia Towers between 14th - 18th February 2005 for three adults and two children. We chose the hotel because it was 5 star and next to a metro station. I e-mailed the hotel and they arranged transfer by minibus from airport to hotel which was efficient and convenient.
We arrived late (10.20 pm ) and went straight to the bowling area for something to eat. The food was excellent, as was the service. Staff were friendly and helpful. We went back the following evening for bowling - kids loved it.
The hotel rooms were on the 12th floor but facing away from the old town so very little to look at. After reading reviews about dirty, drab rooms before leaving we were slightly concerned about what to expect from the hotel. However, we found the rooms on the 12th floor clean and well presented. We have stayed at several five star hotels and I do think it is more like a four star (thin towels, tiny bathroom, insufficient shower gel -had to ask for more, no shampoo.)
However, the metro next to the hotel was extremely convenient and the beauty of Prague in the snow more than made up for the small imperfections of the hotel. Would I stay at this hotel again - YES.
