Pleasant A review of Hilton Pearl River

The hotel itself is beautiful, it is set right next to the woods ( also a golf course) and has polite and helpful staff. The concierge was a little grumpy but nothing too out of the ordinary. The first thing that struck me was that it had a smell of clorine, that diddnt bother me as we were on the 3rd floor. The lifts were creaky but that added to the character of the place. Our room faced the road but surprisingly we didnt hear a thing all night with the window open! Our bathroom was very tiny but that didnt bother me. On our first morning we had room service as we were so tired and that was lovely ( if a bit cold). One comment was the print on the chairs didnt match the print on the floor. And the pool had a very strong smell of chlorine. The normal breakfast service was slow, but the food was average. It took almost 10 minutes for anybody to come with the bill, but that was only a miner thing as it was a sunday morning. The local mall is brilliant, and the 2nd biggest in the US! U will ind everything in there!
