Perfect! A review of Brierley Hill Bed and Breakfast
My wife and I stayed in the Good Friends suite to celebrate our first anniversary. Ken and Joyce were phenomenal hosts! From the moment we checked in, they were very accomodating and the room was amazing! The hot tub was huge, the bed was comfortable (albeit a bit small), and Joyce even had the fire place running for us because the room was a bit chilly. A note of caution, sound travels like crazy in the B&B, even though our suite was in the basement.
Breakfast the next day was exquisite. We had the creme brulee french toast that another reviewer mentioned. It would be a diabetics nightmare, but we LOVED it! Good change of pace from typical eggs, sausage, and bacon.
They have a DVD/TV in your room and they have TONS of DVDs in the entertainment suite upstairs. The TV in the room and upstairs is tiny compared to most TVs in homes these days. But they are sufficient.
The next time we go, we'll have to stay in the cottage suite. Ken gave us a tour before we left and that suite was phenomenal. $275/night is a bit high, but we're going to try it next time we go.
Bistro on Main serves an excellent lunch.
