Perfect Vacation Getaway A review of Holiday Inn Resort Daytona Beach Oceanfront
I just got back from the Inn on the Beach in Daytona. We stayed for 4 days, 3 nights and were overall pleased with the hotel. I am 16 and I went with my mom (40), my boyfriend (17), my two sisters (8 & 4) and my grandmother (65). First of all, I have to say that my mom and I read every single review of almost every single hotel on Daytona Beach and if you are doing the same thing...STOP. We walked up and down the strip and almost every hotel that recieved a low review score was beautiful...and vice versa. Although, if you are thinking about staying at the Inn on the Beach, I would definitely reccomend it. The hotel itself is fairly old and in some parts you can tell but the thing about Daytona Beach is that all of the hotels are pretty old. The Inn on the Beach was a perfect stay for families or anyone looking to have fun.
The pool was great, always clean, especially with all of the people in it all day. The poolside bar was a great place to get drinks and food.
The rooms were clean and well kept. Most of the renovations were the new furniture, the room itself could probably have used some uplifting, but all in all it was great. The hotel was great! The service was excellent, we never regretted our choice. Although if you are looking for a more upscale hotel, the extremely nice ones we saw were : The Plaza Resort and Spa, Adams Mark, Bahama House, and Treasure Island Resort. I hope you have a great time!
