Passable A review of Ramada Westshore Tampa Airport

Stayed in June, 2004. Descriptions found online are misleading.

There was no concierge and no room service. The fitness center consists of a tiny room with 2 pieces of gym equipment crowded in. Ask front desk to show you the room with the ONE computer with an internet connection. They will not tell you about it unless you ask. It is a small office with a desk, one computer and a comfy chair (near the lobby area with the couches) - this is their internet facility. At least the internet is free, if you can get the computer.

Maid service is extremely efficient - my maid even replaced towels I hadn't even used, every day. Elevators are quite slow. When I was there, nearly every floor had broken ice machines. Had to go down 2 floors every time I wanted ice. Pool was adequate. Shuttle service can be very unorganized...reserve shuttle for a bit earlier time than what you need. Washing machines and dryers on-site. Hotel is central to many city bus routes.
